The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse Announce U.S. Co-Headlining Tour

Nineties Indie-Rock Revival This Summer

Indie-rock fans rejoice! The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse are teaming up for a co-headlining U.S. tour this summer, bringing back the nostalgic vibes of 90s indie rock. Alongside these iconic acts, Chicago-based bands Friko and Dehd will open select shows, adding even more variety to the lineup.

The tour kicks off on August 1 in Atlanta, Georgia, and concludes on September 11 in Troutdale, Oregon. In between, the bands will perform in major cities like Philadelphia, Houston, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis, among others. A complete list of tour dates is available below.

Ticket Information

Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 28, at 10 a.m. local time. Fans eager to secure their spots early can take advantage of special artist pre-sales starting Wednesday, March 26.

Modest Mouse’s Anniversary Celebrations

Modest Mouse recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their acclaimed album Good News for People Who Love Bad News. The milestone was marked by a special album reissue and a commemorative tour. Additionally, frontman Isaac Brock and his bandmates auctioned over 500 pieces of vintage music gear on Reverb, offering fans a chance to own a piece of the band’s history.
